Year 11 Young Driver Awareness

As part of the Ethics and Life Skills Curriculum, all Year 11 students will receive the Young Driver Awareness presentation during the Spring term.

The presentation, to be delivered either by PC Andrew Nattrass or Fire Fighter Steve Bartram, forms part of the Norfolk Casualty Reduction Partnership and highlights the hazards young people will face as a young driver, or whilst being carried as the passenger of a young driver.

The presentation includes advice, guidance and warnings for young people and has been seen by thousands of Year 11 students across Norfolk.

The presentation does contain some graphic images/video of mock road traffic accidents which, although are not intended to shock, can be difficult to view. If you have any concerns about your child being part of the presentation, or wish to know more about the content of the presentation, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Ofsted Monitoring Visit 6th and 7th December 2016

We are delighted to share the report from our  Section 8 monitoring inspection on the 6th and 7th December which shows that we are making effective progress towards the removal of special measures. This report reflects the hard work and dedication of all our staff who are working tirelessly to help address our action points as a  school.

I would like to thank our staff, parents and wonderful students for all their support in moving the school forward. We still have a lot to do to achieve our vision for the school,  but we are all thrilled to have confirmation that we are moving in the right direction.
